Julie and Chris’s Madison engagement session was one of the most fun shoots I’ve ever done! They are both hilarious and I was laughing myself to tears while photographing them and their adorable pug.
I always enjoy getting the chance to check out a new photography location so I was really looking forward to Emily and Alex’s Des Plaines River engagement session. They decided on a spot tucked away on the Des Plaines River trail, a place near Alex’s work where he sometimes comes to enjoy a little nature during his lunch break.
After chatting with Jennifer and Frank about location ideas, I knew a Belmont Harbor engagement session would be perfect for them. They wanted to incorporate their adorable golden retriever Colby, and Lake Michigan, so it was a great fit.
Wendy and David’s West Loop engagement session was one of my favorites from this summer. They have a real elegance about them, photograph beautifully and were instantly comfortable in front of the camera.
Serafina and Christian’s West Loop engagement session was full of laughs, runs to warm up in the car and a whole lot of beautiful light.
Julianne and Billy’s Humboldt Park engagement session was full of fall colors and was a whole lot of fun! The two were recommended to me by brides Liz and Lauren and it’s always so nice to be referred by great clients as they already know and love your photography style.
Fall is my favorite season and I love the look and feel of engagement sessions during this time. Megan and Paul really wanted to capture some of the fall colors and we decided on a Caldwell Lily Pond engagement session.
When working with couples for their engagement sessions, I try to find a place that has some extra meaning to them. We had discussed several options for Charlene and Chris’s shoot but decided on doing a Ping Tom Park engagement session since that’s where Chris proposed.
