I rarely ever get to shoot in my own neighborhood so I was really excited when Emily and Kevin invited me to shoot their engagement session in Logan Square. They brought along their adorable dog Dale and we made our way around the monument, using some of the murals as backdrops. They were both instantly comfortable in front of the camera and had lots of fun together!
I had a great time last weekend with Tracy and Todd for their engagement session. We couldn’t have had better weather and the light was gorgeous. We started out near the Empty Bottle, a really great concert venue in Ukrainian Village. and made our way to Humboldt Park. Congrats you two!
I recently found out that I won two awards from the Illinois Press Photographers Association’s Wedding Photojournalism contest. So happy to be part of such an amazing organization!
I had a great session with Rosie and Evan a few weeks ago when we headed downtown for their engagement session. We finally got some nice weather and had a ton of fun strolling around near Eric Cafe, where Evan proposed. Can’t wait for their wedding in a few weeks!
Since they live in New York, I got to meet Mai and Eric for the first time over Skype in my office. From the start, I knew they would be great clients to work with. They were laughing and holding hands and their love was palpable. On their wedding day, they were both radiant and up for anything! On top of that, Mai’s sister Lien did the decor which was stunning and it turned out to be a lovely and memorable day. Congrats to you both!
