I don’t think I’ve ever laughed more than at Kate and Brian’s wedding last weekend. From getting ready, into portraits and after the first dances, they were right by each other’s side joking and having a blast. Not only were they amazing clients to work with, they have that special kind of love that radiates and inspires you. It was such a gift to spend the day with them.
Erin and Joey had a great idea for their engagement session: a trip with their dog Zoe to Montrose Beach. We had a great time running around and jumping in and out of the lake during our shoot. We all left soaking wet and covered in sand! I’m really looking forward to their wedding in October!
Despite being one of the hottest days this summer, I had an amazing time photographing Erin and Drew for their Chicago engagement session. They came in from Nebraska for the shoot and we made our way through the loop where they got engaged. They were so easy to photograph, always laughing and joking around, which made for a lovely photo session.
I couldn’t have been more excited when I had my initial meeting with Tanya to photograph her courthouse wedding in Skokie. She was so full of life and constantly laughing and I knew photographing her and Blair would be tons of fun. A week before the wedding we headed to the Grosse Point Lighthouse in Evanston and did a portrait session around the area and on the beach. On Monday, I met them and their families at the courthouse in Skokie and documented the moments before and during the ceremony. Congrats to you both! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!
When Lauren emailed me about making pictures for her save the date cards, I was really excited to come up with an idea that would be fun and playful and fit her personality. We decided we’d shoot at North Avenue Beach and both had the idea of using some colorful balloons to add to the photos. I decided I’d add the words ‘Save the Date’ to a balloon and we walked around the beach and made pictures before releasing them! So much fun! Congrats to you both!
