I couldn’t resist sharing some favorites from Liz and Andrew’s wedding last weekend! They had a beautiful ceremony at Berger Park along Lake Michigan followed by a reception at the Dank Haus. More to come soon!

Erin and Joey had a great idea for their engagement session: a trip with their dog Zoe to Montrose Beach. We had a great time running around and jumping in and out of the lake during our shoot. We all left soaking wet and covered in sand! I’m really looking forward to their wedding in October!

One thing I loved about photographing Nina and Jason’s wedding was their attention to detail and all of the handmade objects that made the wedding so special. Both of them spent the morning making sure everything was perfect and still remained relaxed and full of laughter. I’d never been to Heritage Prairie Farm before and it was a stunning place to get married, surrounded by corn fields and a big red barn about an hour west of Chicago. They also included a Korean paebek ceremony into the day which was beautiful and a ton of fun to photograph. I had gotten to know them both really well after our engagement session and by the end of the day, I felt like I had made two new friends!
I also had a great time working with Henry Wu of HWu Studios. The same day video edit he made is stunning! Check it out!

Despite being one of the hottest days this summer, I had an amazing time photographing Erin and Drew for their Chicago engagement session. They came in from Nebraska for the shoot and we made our way through the loop where they got engaged. They were so easy to photograph, always laughing and joking around, which made for a lovely photo session.

I couldn’t have been more excited when I had my initial meeting with Tanya to photograph her courthouse wedding in Skokie. She was so full of life and constantly laughing and I knew photographing her and Blair would be tons of fun. A week before the wedding we headed to the Grosse Point Lighthouse in Evanston and did a portrait session around the area and on the beach. On Monday, I met them and their families at the courthouse in Skokie and documented the moments before and during the ceremony. Congrats to you both! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!

At the beginning of the month I had the pleasure of heading to Union Pier, Michigan to photograph Bethany and Jay’s wedding. I’ve known Bethany’s family for several years now and it was great to see everyone again in such a beautiful setting. Jay’s parents flew in all the way from Nepal and we lucked out with perfect weather, gorgeous light and lots of wonderful moments.
